3. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Nahdiy from Muhammad ibn Walid ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), say, ‘Joining Tawaf is Makruh (detestable) only in the case of obligatory Tawaf; but in the case of optional Tawaf, by Allah it is not harmful.’”
3ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَلِيدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا يُكْرَهُ الْقِرَانُ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ فَأَمَّا النَّافِلَةُ فَلا وَالله مَا بِهِ بَأْسٌ.

1. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Nahdiy, from Muhammad ibn al-Wafid from Aban from Dharih who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that one who passes five years without delegating himself before his Lord when he is able to do so, is in fact a deprived person.”
1ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ ذَرِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
مَنْ مَضَتْ لَهُ خَمْسُ سِنِينَ فَلَمْ يَفِدْ إِلَى رَبِّهِ وَهُوَ مُوسِرٌ إِنَّهُ لَمَحْرُومٌ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Sahf ibn Ziyad from af-Husayn ibn af-Hakam who has narrated the folfowing: “About the case of a man who dies leaving behind his two maternal aunts and relatives, abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘
Relatives have priorities over each other. The legacy belongs to the two maternal aunts.”’
7- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ خَالَتَيْهِ وَمَوَالِيَهُ قَالَ أُولُوا الأرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَى بِبَعْضٍ الْمَالُ بَيْنَ الْخَالَتَيْنِ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Perform six Rak‘at Salat (prayer) in Masjid of Mina’ in the original al-Sawma‘ah (the structure near the minaret). (Fatwa explains h 4-5 above)
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
صَلِّ سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي مَسْجِدِ مِنًى فِي أَصْلِ الصَّوْمَعَةِ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from his father, Muhammad ibn ‘Isa who has said the following.
“Once I went to see abu Ja‘far al-Thani’s (a.s.). He debated me in several issues. He then said, “O abu Ali, there is no (reason for) doubt; I am the only son that my father had.”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَنَاظَرَنِي فِي أَشْيَاءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي يَا أَبَا عَلِيٍّ ارْتَفَعَ الشَّكُّ مَا لابِي غَيْرِي.

220. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from someone else, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Amro Bin Ibrahim who said
I asked Abu Ja’far (asws) and complained to him (asws) of a weak stomach, so he (asws) said: ‘Drink ‘الْحَزَاءَ’ Al-Haza’a with the cold water’. So I did it, and found what I liked’.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلام) وَ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ ضَعْفَ مَعِدَتِي فَقَالَ اشْرَبِ الْحَزَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ فَفَعَلْتُ فَوَجَدْتُ مِنْهُ مَا أُحِبُّ.

439. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al-Husayn Bin Sayf, from his brother, from his father, from Abu Bakr Bin Muhammad who said
"I heard Abu Abdullah (AS) reciting: '... and they were shaken, then they were shaken until the Messenger says...'" (2:214)

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Brushing one’s teeth is of the Sunnah and moral discipline of the prophets.’”

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following
“About the case of a man who dies and has a wife with whom he has not gone to bed, one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘She must receive one-half of her mahr (dower) and complete inheritance.’”
3- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا (عَلَيْهِما السَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ وَتَحْتَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَا
قَالَ لَهَا نِصْفُ الْمَهْرِ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ كَامِلا.

16. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ali ibn Hadid from Jamil ibn Darraj from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘al-Li‘an (condemnation) does not take place without denying the child.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘When a man accuses his woman he can go through the process of al-Li‘an (condemnation) against her.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ( عليهما السلام ) قَالَ
لَا يَكُونُ اللِّعَانُ إِلَّا بِنَفْيِ وَلَدٍ وَ قَالَ إِذَا قَذَفَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ لَاعَنَهَا .

23. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-’Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about a man who leads people in Salah (prayer) and makes a mistake. He (the Imam) said, ‘Those behind him open it up for him (help to correct him).”’
23ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَؤُمُّ الْقَوْمَ فَيَغْلَطُ قَالَ يَفْتَحُ عَلَيْهِ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Taymi from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Zurara from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu Hamza from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“Allah wards off destruction from a whole town just because of the existence of one believer in it.”

إِنَّ الله لَيَدْفَعُ بِالْمُؤْمِنِ الْوَاحِدِ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الْفَنَاءَ.

3. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muhammad b. al-Hussain from Abi Dawud al-Mustariq from Ibn Muskan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who visits the tomb of Imam Husain (a.s.) knowing his right, it is written down in Illiyeen.”

مَنْ أَتَی قَبْرَ الْحُسَیْنِ ع عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ کُتِبَ فِی عِلِّیِّینَ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Barid ibn Mu’awiyah from Muhammad ibn Muslim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“When a Jew, Christian or a pagan greets you with peace just say, ‘ ‘Alayka’ meaning, ‘the same to you.’”

إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ الْيَهُودِيُّ وَالنَّصْرَانِيُّ وَالْمُشْرِكُ فَقُلْ عَلَيْكَ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn ai-Husayn from Safwan from af-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has sad, ‘If mistakes become many on you then continue in your Salah (prayer), eventually it may leave you alone; it is from Satan.’”
8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا كَثُرَ عَلَيْكَ السَّهْوُ فَامْضِ فِي صَلاَتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَدَعَكَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ.

20. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Ahmad ibn Hamza from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘Meet them (unfriendly people) outwardly and oppose them inwardly when the rulers are childish.’”
20ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) خَالِطُوهُمْ بِالْبَرَّانِيَّةِ وَخَالِفُوهُمْ بِالْجَوَّانِيَّةِ إِذَا كَانَتِ الإمْرَةُ صِبْيَانِيَّةً.

1. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abdallah from Ayyub ibn Nuh who has said the following.
“I was in the presence of The Imam (a.s.) and he sneezed. I then asked him, “May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, what should one say when the Imam sneezes?” The Imam (a.s.) said, “One should say, ‘May Allah (grant) blessings (up on) you.’”
1ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ قَالَ
عَطَسَ يَوْماً وَأَنَا عِنْدَهُ فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا يُقَالُ لِلامَامِ إِذَا عَطَسَ قَالَ يَقُولُونَ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْكَ.

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from abu al-Jarud who has said the following
“I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) say, ‘Whoever intends to perform a good deed he should do it without delay; Satan keeps an eye on anything that is delayed.’”
9ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ مَنْ هَمَّ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ فَلْيُعَجِّلْهُ فَإِنَّ كُلَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ فِيهِ تَأْخِيرٌ فَإِنَّ لِلشَّيْطَانِ فِيهِ نَظْرَةً.

19. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from abu Ayyub from Muhammad ibn Qays from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
‘‘Allah has a paradise wherein no one is admitted except three kinds of people of whom one is he who judges himself with the truth.”

إِنَّ لله جَنَّةً لا يَدْخُلُهَا إِلا ثَلاثَةٌ أَحَدُهُمْ مَنْ حَكَمَ فِي نَفْسِهِ بِالْحَقِّ.

“Of the people suffering most severely on the Day of Judgment will be one who preaches justice but acts otherwise.”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ الأعْشَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ عَذَاباً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ وَصَفَ عَدْلاً وَعَمِلَ بِغَيْرِهِ.
