Hadith 678

16. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ali ibn Hadid from Jamil ibn Darraj from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘al-Li‘an (condemnation) does not take place without denying the child.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘When a man accuses his woman he can go through the process of al-Li‘an (condemnation) against her.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ( عليهما السلام ) قَالَ
لَا يَكُونُ اللِّعَانُ إِلَّا بِنَفْيِ وَلَدٍ وَ قَالَ إِذَا قَذَفَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ لَاعَنَهَا .
