10 – Salama b. al-Khaṭṭāb, al-Barāwastānī, Abū Muḥammad. From Sawād al-Ray. Weak.

64 - ʿAlī b. Ibrāhīm, al-Hamdānī, Abū Muḥammad. He had a connection with Abū al-Ḥasan عليه .

4 – Ṣāliḥ b. ʿAlī b. ʿAṭiyya, al-Aḍkham (the corpulent, fat), Abū Muḥammad, Basran. He was a traditionist (akhbārī). He is weak.

19 – ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Aḥmad b. Nahīk, al-Samarī, Abū Muḥammad, the one with the laqab of “Daḥamān”. Weak, a proponent of irtifāʿ in doctrine.

8 – al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Abī ʿUthmān, Abū Muḥammad, called al-Sajjāda, al-Qummī. Weak. In his madhhab there is irtifāʿ.

Abu Muhammad (a.s) showed me his son and said: “This is your master after me.”

26 – al-Muʿallā b. Muḥammad, al-Baṣrī, Abū Muḥammad. His ḥadīth are recognized and denied. He narrates from the weak narrators. It is permissible for him to be brought out as a witness.

2 – al-Qāsim b. Muḥammad, al-Isbihānī, Kasulan, Abū Muḥammad. His ḥadīth is sometimes recognized, and other times denied. It is permissible to bring him out as a witness.

3 – Ṣabbāḥ b. Yaḥyā, al-Muzannī, Abū Muḥammad. Kufan. His ḥadīth is (found) in the ḥadīth of our companions. Weak. It is permissible for him to be brought out as a witness.

36 – Sabāḥ b. Bashīr b. Yaḥyā, al-Muqri’, Abū Muḥammad. Narrated from Abū Jaʿfar عليه السلام and Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام . Zaydī.

1 – al-Ḥasan b. Rāshid, client of Manṣūr, Abū Muḥammad. Narrated from Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام and Abū al-Ḥasan Mūsā عليه السلام . Weak in his narrations.

2 – al-Faḍl b. Abū Qurra, al-Tamīmi, al-Sahandī, Abū Muḥammad, Azerbaijani. His origin was Kufan, and he settled in it. Weak, and what (?) he narrates from Abū ʿAbdillāh . عليه السلام

H 361 - Abu Muhammad Harun Ibn Musa says: Abu Ali Junaid said to me, Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibn Ali Shalmaghani said, “I did enter into this contest against Abul Qasim Husain Ibn Rauh, but I knew what I was entering into. We were fighting each other for this position like dogs fight each other over a corpse.” Abu Muhammad said: “The Shia did not pay attention to these words and were unanimous in praying for his chastisement and despising him.”

22 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿUmayr b. Maḥfūẓ al-Balawī, Abū Muḥammad, al-Miṣrī. A liar, a fabricator of ḥadīths, his ḥadīths are not turned to, and he is (or: they are) insignificant.

4 – al-Qāsim b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Yaqṭīn, Abū Muḥammad. Settled in Qum. We recognize his ḥadīth and we deny them. The Qummis mentioned: indeed in his madhhab there is irtifāʿ. Most of what is upon him is good.

14 – Sharīf b. Sābiq, al-Taflīsī, Abū Muḥammad. He narrated from al-Faḍl b. Abī Qurra alSahandī, from Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام . He is weak, confused in the affair.

17 – ʿAbdullāh b. Ḥammād, al-Anṣāri. Settled in Qum. He does not narrate from any of the Imams (a.s). His ḥadīth is sometimes recognized and otherwise denied, and he is brought out as a witness.

“Abu Muhammad (a.s.) showed him (the twelfth Imam (a.s.) to me and said, “This will be your master (Leader with Divine Authority).”

6 – ʿAbdullāh b. Ibrāhīm b. Abī ʿUmar, al-Ghifārī, Abū Muḥammad. (Medinan). Much corruption is cast upon him. He narrated from Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام . It is permissible for him to be brought out as a witness.
