The carriers of the Qur’an are the consciously knowing from the people of Paradise.

The ring pull on the gate of Paradise is made from ruby, and it is upon sheets of gold. When the ring pull knocks on the sheet, it chimes and says: “O `Ali (ya `Ali).”

I heard Al-Ridha (s) say, ‘Whoever sends three believers to the Hajj pilgrimage has indeed bought himself from God with that money. God will not ask him where he has brought the money from - whether it is legitimately earned or illegitimately earned.’”The author of this book (Sheikh Sadooq) said, “This means that God will not ask him about the doubtful portions of his money and will compensate for them by giving the people he probably is indebted to some other wealth.”

I read the following letter, which was in the writing of Imam Jawad (a.s) regarding Ali bin Mahziyar. The following is the text of the letter: “In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Ali, may Allah give you a good reward and may He settle you in His Paradise. May Allah keep away the degradation of the world and the hereafter away from you and may He raise you on Judgment Day with us. O Ali, I tested you in well wishing, obedience and service and also examined you on that which Almighty Allah has made obligatory on you. If I say that I have not seen a similitude of you, I hope I would have stated the truth. May Almighty Allah reward you by admitting you into the Firdos Paradise. Your position and status as well as your service during summer and winter and during night and day is not concealed from me. I beseech Allah, the Mighty and the High that when He gathers people on Judgment Day, may He bestow His widespread mercy on you and reward you with that which you like. Indeed Almighty Allah is the one who listens to the supplications.”

The Messenger of Allah (s) said to `Ali b. Abi Talib (as): On the Day of Resurrection, you will be given – O `Ali – a garment of light, and upon your head will be a crown with an illuminating light [so bright that] it will almost put out the vision of the people of the judgment. Then, a call will come from Allah: “Where is the vicegerent of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah?” So, you will say: “I am he.” He said: So, the caller will call: “O `Ali! Take your lovers to Paradise and those who opposed you to the Fire.” You are the divider of Paradise, and you are the divider of the Fire.

A good saying increases one’s wealth, boosts one’s sustenance, prolongs one’s life, makes one beloved to one’s family, and enters one into Paradise.

God’s Prophet (s) said, “O Ali! Blessed be whoever loves you and acknowledges you. Woe be to whoever hates you and denies you. Your lovers are known in the seventh heaven and the lower seventh earth and in between. They are religious, pious, good- mannered and humble to the Honorable the Exalted God. Their gazes are humble and their hearts are wary of remembering the Honorable the Exalted God. They have recognized the worth of your Mastery. Their tongues are busy mentioning your nobilities. Their eyes are full of tears out of their love for you and the Divine Leaders from your progeny. They adhere to what God has ordained in His Book and what His Prophet (s) has brought in his traditions and is supported by reasons. They follow what the one incharge of the affairs amongst them orders. They are united and are not separate from each other. They love each other and have no despise for one another. The angels will send blessings upon them, say Amen when they pray, implore forgiveness for those of them who repent, are present when they die, and feel lonely when they perish up until the Resurrection Day.”
