My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. al-Hasan al-Mu’addab narrated to us from Ahmad b. `Ali al-Isfahani from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Muhammad b. Dawud al-Dinuri narrated to us. He said: Mundhir al-`Ishrani narrated to us. He said: Sa`id b. Zayd narrated to us from Abi Qanbal from Abi’l Jarud from Sa`id b. The ring pull on the gate of Paradise is made from ruby, and it is upon sheets of gold. When the ring pull knocks on the sheet, it chimes and says: “O `Ali (ya `Ali).”
