عبد الله بن علي بن أبي طالب (عليه السلام): من أصحاب الحسين (عليه السلام)، رجال الشيخ (5)، قائلا: " عبد الله بن علي أخوه، أمه أم البنين أيضا قتل معه (عليه السلام) ". وذكر الشيخ المفيد - قدس سره - في من قتل مع الحسين (عليه السلام) من أهل بيته بطف كربلاء: عبد الله ابن أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام). وذكر أن أمه أم البنين. الارشاد: في الفصل المختص بذكر أسماء من قتل مع الحسين (عليه السلام) من أهل بيته.
