hadith 103
16.Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-Bilād narrated from ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Walīd al- Waṣṣāfī, from Abū Jaʿfar (a) who said
“Kindness [to parents] increases one’s lifespan and charity given secretly calms the Lord’s wrath.”
إبراهيم بن أبي البلاد عن عبد الله بن الوليد الوصافي عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال
البر يزيد في العمر وصدقة السر تطفي غضب الرب.

9.Faḍālah narrated from Sayf, from Abū al-Ṣabbāḥ, from Jābir, from al-Waṣṣāfī, from Abū Jaʿfar (a) who said
“Charity given secretly extinguishes the Lord’s wrath, and being kind to parents and keeping ties with near relatives increases lifespans.”
فضالة عن سيف عن أبي الصباح عن جابر عن الوصافي عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال
صدقة السر تطفي غضب الرب وبر الوالدين وصلة الرحم يزيدان في الاجل.

hadith 25
3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Walid al-Wassafiy who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ’Giving charity out of public sight extinguishes the anger of the Lord, Allah, the most Blessed, the most High.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) صَدَقَةُ السِّرِّ تُطْفِىُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.

3. Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Walid al-Wassafiy who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “Providers of Benevolent Assistance will be as such on the Day of Judgment also. People of wickedness will be as such on the Day of Judgment as well.’””
3ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الآخِرَةِ.

hadith 149
Hadith.1744 - Al-Wassafi narrates from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that he said: "Among the things Allah (swt), Glorified and Exalted, confided to Musa (as) was this: 'O Musa, honor the beggar, either by giving a small amount or by responding with kindness. Indeed, those who come to you may not be humans or jinn, but angels from among the angels of the Most Merciful who test you in what I have entrusted to you. They ask you from what I have granted you, so consider carefully how you will act, O son of Imran.'"
1744 - وَ رَوَى اَلْوَصَّافِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«كَانَ فِيمَا نَاجَى اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنْ قَالَ» «يَا مُوسَى أَكْرِمِ اَلسَّائِلَ بِبَذْلٍ يَسِيرٍ أَوْ بِرَدٍّ جَمِيلٍ إِنَّهُ يَأْتِيكَ مَنْ لَيْسَ بِإِنْسٍ وَ لاَ جَانٍّ مَلاَئِكَةٌ مِنْ مَلاَئِكَةِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ يَبْلُونَكَ فِيمَا خَوَّلْتُكَ وَ يَسْأَلُونَكَ مِمَّا نَوَّلْتُكَ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ صَانِعٌ يَا اِبْنَ عِمْرَانَ ».

14. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Muhammad ibn Isma’il from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Uthman from abu al-Hassan al-Bajali from ‘Ubayd Allah al-Wasafi from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘One who spends the night with his stomach full while his neighbor is hungry does not believe in me. Any (people of the town) who sleep at night with their stomachs full while among them are hungry people, to such people, on the Day of Judgment, Allah will not look with kindness.’”
14ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ الله الْوَصَّافِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَا آمَنَ بِي مَنْ بَاتَ شَبْعَانَ وَجَارُهُ جَائِعٌ قَالَ وَمَا مِنْ أَهْلِ قَرْيَةٍ يَبِيتُ وَفِيهِمْ جَائِعٌ يَنْظُرُ الله إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

hadith 80
1.Al-Ḥusayn ibn Saʿīd narrated to us saying, Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-Bilād narrated to us from ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Walīd al-Waṣṣāfī who said
‘Abū Jaʿfar (AS) said: “Doing good [to others] protects one from falling into ruin, and every good turn is a charity. Those whose want is to do good [to others] in this world are [known as] the doers of good in the Hereafter, while those who do evil in the world are [recognized] as the evildoers in the Hereafter. Verily the first of the inhabitants of Paradise to be admitted into it are the doers of good, and the first of the people of Hell to be thrown into it are the doers of evil.”’”
حدثنا الحسين بن سعيد قال حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي البلاد عن عبد الله بن الوليد الوصافي قال
قال أبو جعفر عليه السلام: صنايع المعروف تقى مصارع السوء وكل معروف صدقة وأهل المعروف في الدنيا هم أهل المعروف في الآخرة وأهل المنكر في الدنيا هم أهل المنكر في الآخرة وان أول أهل الجنة دخل ولا إلى الجنة أهل المعروف وان أول أهل النار دخولا إلى النار أهل المنكر.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from al-Wassafiy from abu Ja‘far (a.s.), who has said the following
“Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, spoke to Moses about certain matters. Of such matters, one was this: ‘O Musa (Moses), treat one asking for help graciously, with a little charity or send him away with kind words; one who is not of man or Jinn may come to you who, in fact, is an angel of the angels of the Beneficent. He may come to examine and test you about the favors that I have granted you. They ask you of the favors I have granted to you. Consider, O son of ’Imran, how you behave.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ الْوَصَّافِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
كَانَ فِيمَا نَاجَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَكْرِمِ السَّائِلَ بِبَذْلٍ يَسِيرٍ أَوْ بِرَدٍّ جَمِيلٍ لأَنَّهُ يَأْتِيكَ مَنْ لَيْسَ بِإِنْسٍ وَلا جَانٍّ مَلائِكَةٌ مِنْ مَلائِكَةِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَبْلُونَك فِيمَا خَوَّلْتُكَ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَمَّا نَوَّلْتُكَ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ صَانِعٌ يَا ابْنَ عِمْرَانَ.

hadith 381
`Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah b. Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Barqi narrated to us from his father from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah from al-Husayn b. Sa`id. He said: Ibrahim b. Abi’l Bilad narrated to us from `Ubaydullah b. al-Walid al-Wisafi. He said
Abu Ja`far al-Baqir (as) said: The doers of established virtues (ma`ruf) protect themselves from those who compete in evil. Doing any established virtue is a charity. The people of established virtues in this world are the people of established virtues in the Hereafter. The people of falsehood in this world are the people of falsehood in the Hereafter. The first people to enter Paradise are the people of established virtues, and the first people to enter the Fire are the people of falsehood.
6 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله البرقي، عن أبيه، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن الحسين بن سعيد، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي البلاد، عن عبيد الله بن الوليد الوصافي، قال
قال أبو جعفر الباقر (عليه السلام): صنائع المعروف تقي مصارع السوء، وكل معروف صدقة، وأهل المعروف في الدنيا أهل المعروف في الآخرة، وأهل المنكر في الدنيا أهل المنكر في الآخرة، وأول أهل الجنة دخولا إلى الجنة أهل المعروف، وإن أول أهل النار دخولا إلى النار أهل المنكر (1).
