Hadith.838 - Yunus ibn Ya'qub said: "I saw Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) leveling the pebbles at the place of his prostration between the two prostrations."
838 - وَقَالَ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يُسَوِّي اَلْحَصَى فِي مَوْضِعِ سُجُودِهِ بَيْنَ اَلسَّجْدَتَيْنِ.

9. Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Walid from Yunus from Ya’qub who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You must not perform Sajdah (prostration) on gold or on silver.’”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ تَسْجُدْ عَلَى الذَّهَبِ وَلاَ عَلَى الْفِضَّةِ.

28-24 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’d ibn Abdullah quoted on the authority of Yaqoob ibn Yazid, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ that he had heard Al-Ridha (s) say, “
When a servant (i.e. a person) falls asleep while he is prostrating, the Blessed the Sublime God will say, ‘I took away the spirit of My servant while he was obeying Me.’”
24 - حَدَّثَنا أَبي رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّه، عَن يَعْقُوبِ بْنِ يَزِيد عَنِ الحَسَن بْنِ عَلِى الوَشَّاء قالَ
سَمِعتُ الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ يَقُولُ إِذَا نَامَ الْعَبْدُ وَهُوَسَاجِدٌ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَبْدِي قَبَضْتُ رُوحَهُ وَهُوَفِي طَاعَتِي.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ya’qub ibn Shu’ayb who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who performs Salah (prayer) on his stumper. He (the Imam) said, ‘He makes gestures for Sujud (prostrations) lower than the gesture for Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees).’ I then asked, ‘Can he perform Salah (prayer) while walking? He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, but in the form of gestures and make the one for Sujud (prostrations) lower than that for RukuV”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ قَالَ يُومِىُ إِيمَاءً يَجْعَلُ السُّجُودَ أَخْفَضَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ قُلْتُ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ يَمْشِي قَالَ نَعَمْ يُومِىُ إِيمَاءً وَلْيَجْعَلِ السُّجُودَ أَخْفَضَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ.

22. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ya’qub ibn Yazid from Ziyad ibn Marwan who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), in prostration position would say, ‘O Lord, I seek Your protection against the fire of incessant heat. I seek Your protection against the fire which remains ever-new, I seek Your protection against the fire in which no one’s thirst is quenched; I seek Your protection against the fire in which the naked is never dressed up.’”
22ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ
كَانَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِهِ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ حَرُّهَا لاَ يُطْفَأُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ جَدِيدُهَا لاَ يَبْلَى وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ عَطْشَانُهَا لاَ يَرْوَى وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ مَسْلُوبُهَا لاَ يُكْسَى.
