" Imam (as) replied: "No, it should not be sold until he returns."

“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ’Clipping fingernails repels great many pains and makes the sustenance flow.”’

“Whoever in his heart may have an amount of arrogance of the size of an atom he will not be able to enter paradise.”

H 337 - Our teachers (Shaykhs) have reported saying: We did not have any doubt that if something should happen to Abu Ja’far, no one will take his place, but Ja’far Ibn Ahmad Ibn Matil or his father, for he was Abu Ja’far’s confidant and was at his house mostly. It was known that towards the end of his life, Abu Ja’far did not eat any food that was not prepared at the house of Ja’far Ibn Ahmad Ibn Matil and his father, due to an incident that had occurred. His food was at the house of Ja’far and his father. Our scholars did not doubt that if something happened, the position will be handed to him. When he passed away and Abul Qasim was selected, they submitted to him and did not reject him. They were all with him and at his service just as they were with Abu Ja’far. Ja’far Ibn Ahmad Ibn Matil continued to serve Abul Qasim as his deputy until his death as he served Abu Ja’far Amari. Anyone who criticizes Abul Qasim in fact criticizes Abu Ja’far and finally criticizes the Divine Proof (Hujjah).

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Washing the head with marshmallow plant removes dirt and fine dust.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about elephant bones, its oil (perfume) containers and combs. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, applied eye powder before going to sleep-four times in the right and three in the left.’”

“You write: Greetings to one who follows guidance. And end your letter with: Greetings to the Apostles, and praise is due to the Lord of the two worlds.”

“Whoever would want al-Hadith for the worldly gains he will have no share for it in the next life.”

“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘You should use certain items of these resources to overcome other tasks and do not become a burden on people.’”

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that a woman should not fast an optional fast without permission from her husband.”

“The Holy Prophet has said, ‘For everything there is an ornament, the ornament of (reading) the Holy Quran is attractive tone of voice.’”

Everything in this book that is narrated from Wahib ibn Hafs has been transmitted by me from Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh - may Allah (swt) be pleased with him - from his uncle Muhammad ibn Abi Al-Qasim, from Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Hamdani, from Wahib ibn Hafs Al-Kufi, who was known as Al-Muntaf.

“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘To be hopeful toward Allah means not to have hope in anyone except Allah and not to be afraid of anything but one’s sins.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘I do not accept the testimony of a sinful man except against his own-self.’”

I said to Abu al-Hasan (as): "May I be your ransom, our camel driver passed us by and did not stop at al-Mu'arras. Imam (as) said: 'You must return to it.' So we went back to it."

"Whoever has intercourse with his wife after the completion of her waiting period ('iddah) is to be subjected to the prescribed punishment (hadd). However, if he has intercourse with her before the completion of her waiting period, that act is considered a return (reconciliation) to her."

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘We the community of the family of Muhammad wear al- Khazz (skin or fur of an animal that lives in water) and al-Yumnah (that which is made in Yemen).’”

he said: Some individuals of the Jews came to the Messenger of Allah, (saww) and their most knowledgeable asked him, and among what he asked him is that he said to him: For what thing were you named Muhammed, Ahmad, Abul-Qasim, Bearer of glad tidings, Warner and a Caller? Then the Prophet (saww) said: 'As for Muhammed, then indeed, I am praised on earth. As for Ahmad, then indeed, I am praised in Heaven. As for Abul-Qasim, then indeed, Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He, will divide the Day of Resurrection into the division of the Fire, and those who disbelieve in me from the first and the last shall be in the Fire, and He will make the division of Paradise, and those who believe in me and acknowledge my Prophethood shall be in Paradise. As for the Caller, then indeed, I call the people to the Religion of my Lord, Exalted and Glorious is He. As for the Warner, then indeed, I warn of the Fire to those who disobey me. As for the Bearer of glad tidings, then indeed, I give glad tidings of Paradise to those who obey me.'"

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘I like for the believers to apply (lime) paste after every fifteen days.”’
