Shaykh Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb al-Kulaynī
۞
11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Ibrahim ibn Mehzam from al-Qasim ibn al- Walid who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about elephant bones, its oil (perfume) containers and combs. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِهْزَمٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ عِظَامِ الْفِيلِ مَدَاهِنِهَا وَ أَمْشَاطِهَا قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهَا .
