داود: وقع بهذا العنوان في إسناد جملة من الروايات تبلغ اثني عشر موردا. فقد روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، وعن حفص بن غياث، وحماد، وسيف، والفضل، ويعقوب بن شعيب. وروى عنه ابن أبي عمير، وابن محبوب، وأحمد بن محمد، وأحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، وسليم الفراء، وعلي بن أسباط، وعلي بن الحكم، وفضالة، ومحمد بن سليمان، ومحمد بن عيسى، ويونس. أقول: داود هذا مشترك بين جماعة، والتمييز إنما هو بالراوي والمروي عنه.
