أحمد بن عمران الحلبي: = أحمد بن عمر. من أصحاب الباقر عليه السلام. رجال الشيخ (46). أقول: أحمد: هذا، لا يكون ابن عمران بن علي بن أبي شعبة الحلبي جزما، فإن عمران بن علي بن أبي شعبة من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، كما في رجال الشيخ (532). بل مقتضى كلام النجاشي: في أحمد بن عمر بن أبي شعبة: أن علي بن أبي شعبة والد عمران، روى عن الصادق عليه السلام، فمع ذلك كيف يمكن أن يكون ابن ابنه، من أصحاب الباقر (ع)؟! إذن هو شخص آخر مجهول، لم يظهر أنه من آل أبي شعبة الذين هم ثقات جميعا، على ما ذكره النجاشي، في ترجمة: عبيد الله بن علي بن أبي شعبة الحلبي.
