أبو كريبة الأزدي: شهد هو ومحمد بن مسلم الثقفي عند شريك بشهادة، وهو قاض، نظر في وجههما مليا ثم قال: جعفريان فاطميان، فبكيا، فقال لهما: ما يبكيكما؟ قالا له: نسبتنا إلى أقوام لا يرضون بأمثالنا أن يكونوا من إخوانهم، (الحديث). تقدم في ترجمة محمد بن مسلم الطائفي الثقفي.
