أبو فروة روى زيد بن أبي أسامة في نسخة وأخرى زيد أبو أسامة عنه عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام في (يب) في باب الحد في نكاح البهائم الحسين بن سيف عن أخيه عن أبيه عن زيد أبى أسامة عنه في (بص) في باب حد من اتى بهيمة الظاهر أنه الصواب بقرينة رواية سيف بن عميرة عنه كثيرا واتحاد الخبر والله أعلم.
