13. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated in a marfu‘ manner has said the following
“Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Turning on the lamp before sunset banishes poverty.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) إِسْرَاجُ السِّرَاجِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ يَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ .

4. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from al-Hajj al from Tha’labah from Zurarah who has said the following
“One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Al-Qabilah (the doctor) is immune and not liable.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ( عليهما السلام ) قَالَ

“I once wrote to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), asking about al-Fuqa ’ and he (the Imam) prohibited me to use it.”

الْحَجُّ الأَكْبَرُ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ.

11. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufiy from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sa‘id ibn Yasar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no Taqiyah (maintaining caution because of fear) in the case of al-Nabidh (wine).”’

“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about a man who because of cold covers his ears while in the state of Ihram. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, he must not do so.’”
4ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْمُحْرِمِ يَجِدُ الْبَرْدَ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ يُغَطِّيهِمَا قَالَ لا.

لا تَسْتَأْجِرِ الأرْضَ بِالْحِنْطَةِ ثُمَّ تَزْرَعَهَا حِنْطَةً.

“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘A singer female is condemned, and condemned is one who consumes the income from her singing.’”
6- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ قَابُوسَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ الْمُغَنِّيَةُ مَلْعُونَةٌ مَلْعُونٌ مَنْ أَكَلَ كَسْبَهَا.

“I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying, ‘There is no worship better than the chastity in matters of stomach and genital organs.’”

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عِبَادَةٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ عِفَّةِ بَطْنٍ وَفَرْجٍ.

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يَنْهَى عَنِ الْغُسْلِ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْقَبْرَ.

3. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from al-Hajjal from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar (in a maqtu’ manner) who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said that condolences should be offered only near the grave. Thereafter people should return so that they cannot hear the voice if anything happens to the deceased.”
3ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ
لَيْسَ التَّعْزِيَةُ إِلاَّ عِنْدَ الْقَبْرِ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُونَ لاَ يَحْدُثُ فِي الْمَيِّتِ حَدَثٌ فَيَسْمَعُونَ الصَّوْتَ.
