Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from abu ‘Usamah who has said the following “I once visited abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.). He brought banana nearer to me and I ate.’” أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ مَوْزاً فَأَكَلْتُهُ .
