أبو الحسن بن زيد البيهقي: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (1090): " أبو الحسن بن زيد البيهقي: فريد خراسان، له كتب، منها: تلخيص مسائل الذريعة للمرتضى، والإفادة للشهادة، وجواب يوسف اليهودي العراقي، قاله ابن شهرآشوب ". ولكن الموجود في معالم العلماء، في ترجمة والد المترجم (343) زين بن الحسين البيهقي، ما لفظه: " ولابنه أبي الحسن فريد خراسان كتب منها: تلخيص مسائل من الذريعة للسيد المرتضى (رضي الله عنه)، والإفادة للشهادة، وجواب يوسف اليهودي العراقي " (إنتهى).
