أبو تمامة: روى عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام، وروى عنه عبد الكريم الهمداني. الكافي: الجزء 6، كتاب الزي والتجمل 8، باب لبس الصوف والشعر والوبر 8، الحديث 3. وروى عنه عبد الكريم من أهل همدان. الكافي: الجزء 5، كتاب المعيشة 2، باب الدين 19، الحديث 9. وروى الشيخ هذه الرواية الثانية بسنده، عن عبد الكريم من أهل همدان، عن رجل يقال له أبو تمامة، عن أبي جعفر الثاني عليه السلام. التهذيب: الجزء 6، باب الديون وأحكامها، الحديث 382. ولكن الصدوق رواها بعينها، عن أبي ثمامة بالمثلثة. الفقيه: الجزء 3، باب الدين والقروض، الحديث 472، وهو الموافق للوافي والوسائل. وذكره في المشيخة، وقال: " وما كان فيه عن أبي ثمامة، فقد رويته عن محمد ابن علي ماجيلويه، ومحمد بن موسى بن المتوكل، والحسين بن إبراهيم - رضي الله عنهم -، عن علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه، عن أبي ثمامة صاحب أبي جعفر الثاني عليه السلام ". والطريق صحيح.
