أبو بكر بن علي: أخوه (الحسين عليه السلام)، قتل معه، أمه ليلى بنت مسعود بن خالد بن مالك بن ربعي بن سلمة بن جندل بن نهشل من بني دارم، من أصحاب الحسين عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (1). وعد المفيد - قدس سره - فيمن قتل مع الحسين عليه السلام من أهل بيته، عبد الله، وأبا بكر ابني أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام، قائلا: " أمهما ليلى بنت مسعود الثقفية ". الارشاد: في أسماء من قتل مع الحسين عليه السلام.
