hadith 33
Hadith.31 - Jabir ibn Yazid al-Ju'fi about a gecko falling into a well. Imam (as) said: "It is nothing (to worry about); stir the water with a bucket."
31 - وَ سَأَلَ جَابِرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ اَلْجُعْفِيُّ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلسَّامِّ أَبْرَصَ يَقَعُ فِي اَلْبِئْرِ فَقَالَ
«لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ حَرِّكِ اَلْمَاءَ بِالدَّلْوِ.

hadith 104
6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Yazid ibn Ishaq from Harun ibn Hamzah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘An amount of water which can fill up your right hand is sufficient for your Ghusl (bath) and washing clean your urethra.’”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
يُجْزِئُكَ مِنَ الْغُسْلِ وَالاسْتِنْجَاءِ مَا مُلِئَتْ يَمِينُكَ.

hadith 1107
4. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from certain persons of his people from Ibrahim ibn ‘Uqbah in a marfu manner has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’Wiping one’s hands with a towel after wudu (washing) removes troubles and increases sustenance.’”
الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَسْحُ الْوَجْهِ بَعْدَ الْوُضُوءِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْكَلَفِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرِّزْقِ .

hadith 167
4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from Zarif from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from ‘Abd Allah ibn Yazid who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not necessary to take Wudu’ because of the coming out of one’s buttock, such things as pumpkin seeds or small worms; they are like lice.’”
4ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ ظَرِيفٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لَيْسَ فِي حَبِّ الْقَرْعِ وَالدِّيدَانَ الصِّغَارِ وُضُوءٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْقَمْلِ.

hadith 124
Hadith.126 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "Siwak (tooth cleaning) has twelve benefits: it is part of the Sunnah (tradition), purifies the mouth, improves vision, pleases the Merciful, whitens the teeth, removes decay, strengthens the gums, increases appetite, removes phlegm, enhances memory, multiplies good deeds, and brings joy to the angels."
126 - وَقَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «فِي اَلسِّوَاكِ اِثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ خَصْلَةً هُوَ مِنَ اَلسُّنَّةِ وَ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ وَ مَجْلاَةٌ لِلْبَصَرِ وَ يُرْضِي اَلرَّحْمَنَ وَ يُبَيِّضُ اَلْأَسْنَانَ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالْحَفْرِ وَ يَشُدُّ اَللِّثَةَ وَ يُشَهِّي اَلطَّعَامَ وَ يَذْهَبُ بِالْبَلْغَمِ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي اَلْحِفْظِ وَ يُضَاعِفُ اَلْحَسَنَاتِ وَ تَفْرَحُ بِهِ اَلْمَلاَئِكَةُ.

hadith 709
1. We were told by Muhammed bin Ahmad al-Sinani, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Abi Abdillah al-Kufi, from Musa bin Imran al-Nakha’i, from his paternal uncle, Hussain bin Yazid al-Nawfali, from Muhammed bin Hamran, from his father, from Abu Khalid al-Kabuli, that he said: It was said to Ali bin Hussain, peace be upon them both: Where do the estranged perform Wudu? He said
They should be warned from the shores from rivers, leading roads, under fruitful trees and the spots of curse. It was said to him: And what are the spots of curse? He said: The doors of houses.
حدثنا محمد بن أحمد السناني - رضي الله عنه - قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، عن موسى بن عمران النخعي، عن عمه الحسين بن يزيد النوفلي، عن محمد بن حمران، عن أبيه، عن أبي خالد الكابلي، قال
قيل لعلي بن الحسين عليهما السلام: أين يتوضأ الغرباء؟ قال: يتقون شطوط الأنهار، والطرق النافذة، وتحت الأشجار المثمرة، ومواضع اللعن قيل له: وما مواضع اللعن؟ فقال: أبواب الدور.

hadith 452
1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Abdullah bin Ja’far al-Himyari, from Ahmad bin Muhammed bin Isa, from Hussain bin Sa’eed, from Uthman bin Isa, from Mansur bin Hazem, from Ibrahim ibn Ma’ridh, that he said
I said to Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him: The people of Kufa are narrating from Ali, peace be upon him, that he was in Kufa and urinated until scum appeared, then performed Wudu’[1], then wiped on his sandals and then said: This is the Wudu of the one who does not invalidate it. He said: Yes, he did that. He said: Then what act of invalidation is more invalidating than urinating? So he said: By that he only meant excessiveness in performing Wudu, that one adds onto the limitation of Wudu.
أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا عبد الله جعفر الحميري، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسين بن سعيد، عن عثمان بن عيسى، عن منصور بن حازم، عن إبراهيم ابن معرض، قال
قلت لأبي جعفر عليه السلام: إن أهل الكوفة يروون، عن علي عليه السلام أنه كان بالكوفة فبال حتى رغا ثم توضأ ثم مسح على نعليه ثم قال: هذا وضوء من لم يحدث. فقال: نعم، قد فعل ذلك. قال: فأي حدث أحدث من البول؟ فقال: إنما يعني بذلك التعدي في الوضوء أن يزيد على حد الوضوء.

hadith 127
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from af-Fadf ibn Shadhan all from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) about the limits of the face that must be washed for Wudu’ about which Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has also spoken. He (the Imam) said, ‘The face which Allah, most High, has commanded to wash to the limits of which no one has permission for addition or reduction; for addition one cannot receive any reward and for reduction one commits a sin. That limit is the area of the face which one’s forefinger, middle finger and thumb cover in width and in depth from the hairline on the forehead down to one’s chin and the area of the face over which the two fingers (middle finger and thumb) pass downward is of the face, besides this is not of the face.’ I (the narrator) then said, ‘Is the temple not of the face?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is not (part) of the face.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ حَدِّ الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يُوَضَّأَ الَّذِي قَالَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ الْوَجْهُ الَّذِي أَمَرَ الله تَعَالَى بِغَسْلِهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَنْبَغِي لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَزِيدَ عَلَيْهِ وَلاَ يَنْقُصَ مِنْهُ إِنْ زَادَ عَلَيْهِ لَمْ يُؤْجَرْ وَإِنْ نَقَصَ مِنْهُ أَثِمَ مَا دَارَتْ عَلَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةُ وَالْوُسْطَى وَالإِبْهَامُ مِنْ قُصَاصِ الرَّأْسِ إِلَى الذَّقَنِ وَمَا جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الإِصْبَعَانِ مِنَ الْوَجْهِ مُسْتَدِيراً فَهُوَ مِنَ الْوَجْهِ وَمَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ الْوَجْهِ قُلْتُ الصُّدْغُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْوَجْهِ قَالَ لاَ.

hadith 87
Hadith.88 – Zurarah bin A'yan said to Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as): "Inform me about the limits of the face that one should wash, as mentioned by Allah (swt), Mighty and Majestic." Imam (as) said: "The face that Allah (swt) has commanded to be washed is that which no one should add to or subtract from. If someone adds to it, they will not be rewarded, and if they subtract from it, they will sin. The area includes from the hairline of the head to the chin, and what is encompassed by the thumbs (when making a circle with the fingers) is considered part of the face. Anything outside of that is not considered part of the face”. Zurarah asked: "
What about the temples?" Imam (as) said: "No." Zurarah then said: "What if it is surrounded by hair?" Imam (as) said: "Whatever is surrounded by hair is not required for the servants to seek or look for; however, water should flow over it."
88 - قَالَ زُرَارَةُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ اَلْبَاقِرِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ حَدِّ اَلْوَجْهِ اَلَّذِي يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُوَضَّأَ اَلَّذِي قَالَ
اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَقَالَ «اَلْوَجْهُ اَلَّذِي قَالَ اَللَّهُ وَ أَمَرَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِغَسْلِهِ اَلَّذِي لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَزِيدَ عَلَيْهِ وَ لاَ يَنْقُصَ مِنْهُ إِنْ زَادَ عَلَيْهِ لَمْ يُؤْجَرْ وَ إِنْ نَقَصَ مِنْهُ أَثِمَ مَا دَارَتْ عَلَيْهِ اَلْوُسْطَى وَ اَلْإِبْهَامُ مِنْ قُصَاصِ شَعْرِ اَلرَّأْسِ إِلَى اَلذَّقَنِ وَ مَا جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ اَلْإِصْبَعَانِ مُسْتَدِيراً فَهُوَ مِنَ اَلْوَجْهِ وَ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اَلْوَجْهِ» فَقَالَ لَهُ اَلصُّدْغُ مِنَ اَلْوَجْهِ فَقَالَ «لاَ» قَالَ زُرَارَةُ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَ رَأَيْتَ مَا أَحَاطَ بِهِ اَلشَّعْرُ فَقَالَ «كُلُّ مَا أَحَاطَ بِهِ مِنَ اَلشَّعْرِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَى اَلْعِبَادِ أَنْ يَطْلُبُوهُ وَ لاَ يَبْحَثُوا عَنْهُ وَ لَكِنْ يُجْرَى عَلَيْهِ اَلْمَاءُ.
