يحيى بن الحسن بن الحسين: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (1067): " الشيخ أبو الحسين يحيى ابن الحسن بن الحسين بن علي بن محمد بن البطريق: كان عالما، فاضلا، محدثا، محققا، ثقة، صدوقا، له كتب، منها: كتاب العمدة المناقب، وكتاب اتفاق صحاح الأثر في إمامة الأئمة الاثني عشر، وكتاب الرد على أهل النظر في تصفح أدلة القضاء والقدر، وكتاب نهج العلوم إلى نفي المعدوم المعروف بسؤال أهل حلب، وكتاب تصفح الصحيحين في تحليل المتعتين، وكتاب خصائص، وغير ذلك، يروي عنه السيد فخار بن معد، ويروي الشهيد عن محمد بن جعفر المشهدي، عنه، وذكر أن محمد بن جعفر قرأ هذه الكتب وغيرها من مؤلفاته عليه ".
