هاني بن هاني السبيعي: هو آخر من أرسل إلى الحسين عليه السلام من قبل أهل الكوفة مع سعيد ابن عبد الله الحنفي، وكتبوا إليه كتابا يطلبون فيه أنهم ينتظرونه ولا رأي لهم غيره سلام الله عليه، وطلبوا منه العجلة، فأوصل الكتاب إلى الحسين عليه السلام فقرأه، وكتب سلام الله عليه كتابا أرسله معهما، وكتب فيه أنه يبعث إليهم مسلم بن عقيل. الارشاد: في مكاتبة أهل الكوفة إلى الحسين عليه السلام. أقول: ولا يبعد اتحاد هذا مع من بعده.
