ورد بن زيد الأسدي: كوفي، عده الشيخ تارة في أصحاب الباقر عليه السلام (2)، ووصفه بأخي كميت بن زيد. و (أخرى) من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام (22). تقدم روايته عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام في ترجمة أخيه الكميت، وعده البرقي في أصحاب الباقر عليه السلام. روى الشيخ بسنده، عن أبي بكر الحضرمي، عن الورد بن زيد، عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام. التهذيب: الجزء 9، باب الذبائح والأطعمة، الحديث 293، والاستبصار: الجزء 4، باب ذبائح الكفار، الحديث 325، إلا أن فيه: أبا الورد بن زيد، بدل الورد بن زيد، والظاهر صحة ما في التهذيب الموافق للفقيه: الجزء 3، باب الصيد والذبائح، الحديث 973، والوافي والوسائل أيضا.
