وحشي بن حرب: من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (3). هو قاتل حمزة بن عبد المطلب يوم أحد، وشرك في قتل مسيلمة الكذاب يوم اليمامة، وكان يقول: قتلت خير الناس في الجاهلية، وشر الناس في الاسلام، ذكره الجزري في أسد الغبة.
