نعمة الله بن الحسين: قال الشيخ الحر في أمل الآمل (205): " الشيخ نعمة الله بن الحسين العاملي: كان فاضلا، صالحا، قرأ على جماعة من فضلاء العرب والعجم، وكتب كتب الحديث المشهورة بخطه وقرأها عندهم، من المعاصرين، مات سنة ابتداء تأليف هذا الكتاب، وهي سنة (1096) ".
