المنهال القصاب: كوفي، ذكره البرقي في أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام. وعد الشيخ المنهال القصاب من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام (538). كذا في النسخة المطبوعة وفي بعض النسخ، وبقية النسخ خالية عن ذكره. طبقته في الحديث وقع بهذا العنوان في إسناد جملة من الروايات، تبلغ اثني عشر موردا. فقد روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. وروى عنه زرعة، وعبد الرحمن بن الحجاج، وعبد الله بن يحيى الكاهلي، ومالك بن عطية، والمثنى الحناط، ويونس. وكيف كان، فطريق الصدوق - قدس سره - إليه: أبوه - رضي الله عنه -، عن محمد بن يحيى العطار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن منهال القصاب، والطريق صحيح.
