معلى: وقع بهذا العنوان في إسناد جملة من الروايات، تبلغ اثنين وعشرين موردا. فقد روى عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام، وعن أبي بصير، وأحمد بن غسان، والحسن، والحسن بن علي، والحسن بن علي الوشاء، ومحمد بن جمهور، ومحمد بن الفيض، والوشاء. وروى عنه أبو بكر الحضرمي، وإسحاق بن عمار، والحسن بن محبوب، والحسين، والحسين بن محمد، والحسين بن محمد الأشعري، ومجاشع، ومعلى أبو عثمان. ويونس. أقول: هذا مشترك بين جماعة، والتمييز إنما هو بالراوي والمروي عنه.
