مسلم بن أبي سارة: ثقة (صه - جش - ست). كذا في بعض نسخ الوسيط. وعن بعض النسخ هكذا: محمد بن أبي سارة تقدم عن (صه) و (جش) محمد بن الحسن بن أبي سارة ما يحتمل أن يستفاد منه توثيقه، وعليه بنى بعض الأصحاب فنقله عنهما. انتهى. أقول: الظاهر صحة هذه النسخة، فإنه ليس في الفهرست ما يحتمل استفادة توثيق مسلم بن أبي سارة، وأما استفادة التوثيق من عبارة النجاشي التي ذكرها العلامة أيضا فهي أيضا غير صحيحة، فإن ضمير الجمع في عبارة النجاشي في جملة (وهم ثقات) يرجع إلى محمد بن الحسن وأبيه وابن عمه معاذ ابن مسلم، كما هو ظاهر، ومن هنا قال الميرزا في رجاله الكبير: " مسلم بن أبي سارة، ثقة (جش - صه) كذا قيل ".
