محمد بن علي بن الحسن الحلبي: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (840): " الشيخ محمد بن علي بن الحسن الحلبي: كان فاضلا ماهرا، من مشايخ ابن شهرآشوب ". ثم قال: " ولا يبعد كونه ابن المحسن الآتي ". أقول: ما ذكره - قدس سره - لا يخلو عن بعد، فإن هذا من مشايخ ابن شهرآشوب، وذاك ممن أدرك الشيخ أبا جعفر الطوسي وروى عنه.
