محمد بن عبيد الله بن بابويه: (مالويه) (بالويه)، أبو القاسم: روى عنه أبو نضر أحمد بن الحسين بن أحمد بن عبيد الضبي، ووصفه بالرجل الصالح. العيون: الجزء 2، الباب 37، فيما حدث به الرضا عليه السلام في مربعة نيشابور، الحديث 3. أقول: لا يبعد أن الرجل من النواصب، فإن أحمد بن الحسين من أنصب النواصب، على ما تقدم في ترجمته، فإنه لا يمدح، إلا من كان بعقيدته، وبلغ أحمد من نصبه أنه كان يقول اللهم صل على محمد فردا، ويمتنع من الصلاة على آله.
