محمد بن سالم بن عبد الرحمان: روى عن الحسين بن محمد بن علي الأزدي، وروى عنه أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد، ذكره الشيخ في الفهرست في ترجمة إسماعيل بن أبي خالد (30). أقول: هذا مغاير لما بعده الذي هو من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، فإن أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد المتوفي سنة ثلاثمائة وثلاث وثلاثين، والمتولد سنة تسع وأربعين ومائتين، لا يمكن أن يروي عمن هو من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام.
