محمد بن زين الدين: قال الشيخ الحر في أمل الآمل (163): " الشيخ شمس الدين محمد بن زين الدين بن علي بن شمال العاملي المشغري: جد خال والدي، الشيخ علي بن محمود العاملي، كان فاضلا، فقيها، صالحا، شاعرا، أديبا، وكان الشيخ علي بن إبراهيم العاملي الكفعمي من تلامذته، قرأ عنده سنة (898) كما وجدته بخط الكفعمي، في بعض كتب الفقه ".
