محمد بن ذهل: ابن عمير الأودي الكوفي: وقيل أزدي، من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، رجال الشيخ (100). أقول: ذكر الأردبيلي تحت هذا العنوان رواية أبي علي الأشعري، عن محمد الذهلي، عن أبي أيوب المدائني، عن الكافي، باب احراز القوت في كتاب المعيشة، ولكن ما ذكره سهو في سهو، أما أولا فلان المذكور في الكافي: الجزء 5، باب احراز القوت 15، الحديث 2: أبو محمد الذهلي، وأين هذا من محمد الذهلي. وثانيا: أن محمد بن ذهل: من أصحاب الصادق عليه السلام، فكيف يمكن انطباقه على من يروي عنه أبو علي الأشعري (أحمد بن إدريس)، وهو يروي عن أبي الحسن عليه السلام بوسائط.
