محمد بن جعفر بن مسرور: رضي الله عنه، من مشايخ الصدوق. العيون: الجزء 2، الباب 30 في (ما جاء عن الرضا عليه السلام من الاخبار المنثورة)، الحديث 27، كذا في النسخة، وعن بعض النسخ: جعفر بن محمد بن موسى بن مسرور، والظاهر أنه الصحيح، فإنه من مشايخه كما تقدم، وقد تخيل بعضهم أنه محمد بن قولويه والد جعفر بن محمد بن قولويه، وهو سهو، ويظهر ذلك بمراجعة ترجمة جعفر بن محمد بن قولويه.
