محمد بن أيوب بن نوح: روى الشيخ الصدوق، عن محمد بن علي ماجيلويه، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى العطار، قال: حدثني جعفر بن محمد بن مالك الفزاري، قال: حدثني معاوية ابن حكيم، ومحمد بن أيوب بن نوح، ومحمد بن عثمان العمري - رضي الله عنه - قالوا: عرض علينا أبو محمد الحسن بن علي عليه السلام ابنه، ونحن في منزله، وكنا أربعين رجلا، فقال: هذا إمامكم من بعدي، وخليفتي عليكم (إلى أن قال): فما مضت إلا أيام قلائل، حتى مضى أبو محمد عليه السلام. كمال الدين: الجزء 2، الباب 43، في ذكر من شاهد القائم عليه السلام، الحديث 2.
