محمد بن إسماعيل بن أحمد: ابن إسماعيل بن محمد، أبو جعفر، روى عن أبي يوسف الوحاطي (ظي خ ل)، والأزهر بن بسطام بن رستم، والحسن بن يعقوب، وروى عنه أبو عيسى بن عبيد الله الصابوني، ذكره النجاشي في طريقه إلى عيسى بن المستفاد. ثم قال: " وهذا الطريق طريق مصري، وفيه اضطراب ".
