محمد بن أبي العلاء: روى الشيخ بسنده، عن محمد بن الحسين، عن محمد بن أبي العلاء، عن محمد بن مسلم. التهذيب: الجزء 4، باب العاجز عن الصيام، الحديث 704، والاستبصار: الجزء 2، باب المسافر إذا أفطر هل يجوز له أن يجامع..، الحديث 341، إلا أن فيه محمدا عن العلاء، بدل محمد بن أبي العلاء، وهو الموافق لما في الوافي ونسخة من المخطوطة، والظاهر أنه الصحيح. وروى عن يحيى بن أكثم قاضي سامراء، وروى عنه عبد الوهاب بن منصور. الكافي: الجزء 1، كتاب الحجة 4، باب ما يفصل به بين دعوى المحق والمبطل 81، الحديث 9.
