ماجد بن هاشم: قال الشيخ في تذكرة المتبحرين (676): " السيد أبو علي ماجد بن هاشم بن علي بن المرتضى بن علي بن ماجد الحسيني البحراني: فاضل، شاعر، أديب، جليل القدر في العلم والعمل، وله ديوان شعر كبير جيد رأيته، وقد ذكره صاحب السلافة وقال: هو أكبر من أن يفي بوصفه قول، وأعظم من أن يقاس بفضله طول، له علم يخجل البحار، وخلق يفوق نسائم الأسحار، إلى ذات مقدسة، ونفس على التقوى مؤسسة، وإخبات ووقار.. شفع شرف العلم بظرف الأدب.. ثم أثنى عليه ثناء بليغا طويلا، وذكر أنه توفي سنة (1028)، ونقل له شعرا كثيرا، ويحتمل اتحاده مع الأول، بل الظاهر ذلك ".
