كعب بن عمرو: أبو اليسير (أبو اليسر)، من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (3). وعده في الكنى من أصحاب علي عليه السلام (21)، قائلا: " أبو اليسر بن عمرو الأنصاري، وهو الذي لما نزل قوله تعالى: (يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وذروا ما بقي من الربا إن كنتم مؤمنين)، قال: ذرنا، فلما نزلت: (فلكم رؤس أموالكم)، قال: قد رضينا، فلما نزلت: (وإن كان ذو عسرة فنظرة إلى ميسرة)، قال: قد أنظرنا، فلما نزلت: (وأن تصدقوا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون)، قال: تصدقنا.
