كثير بن عياش: القطان: أبو سهل، ضعيف، تقدم في ترجمة زياد بن المنذر. روى عن زياد بن المنذر أبي الجارود، وروى عنه جعفر بن عبد الله، تفسير القمي: سورة آل عمران، في تفسير قوله تعالى: (إني أخلق لكم من الطين كهيئة الطير.. ". أقول: إن لم يكن الشيخ ضعفه لاكتفينا في وثاقته بوجوده في إسناد التفسير، وأما مع تضعيفه إياه صريحا في فهرسته فلا مجال للحكم بوثاقته.
