الفضل بن يحيى بن علي: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (653): " الشيخ مجد الدين الفضل ابن يحيى بن علي بن المظفر بن الطبي الكاتب بواسط: فاضل، عالم، جليل، يروي كتاب كشف الغمة عن مؤلفه علي بن عيسى الأربلي، كتبه بخطه وقابله وسمعه من مؤلفه، وله منه إجازة سنة (691)، وسمع منه جماعة قد ذكرناهم في أماكنهم، وهم اثنا عشر رجلا ".
