علي بن هبة الله بن عثمان: قال الشيخ منتجب الدين في فهرسته: " الشيخ أبو الحسن علي بن هبة الله ابن عثمان بن أحمد بن إبراهيم بن الرائقة الموصلي: كبير، حافظ، ورع، ثقة، وله تصانيف، منها: المتمسك بحبل آل الرسول، الأنوار في تاريخ الأئمة الأطهار، كتاب اليقين في أصول الدين. أخبرنا بها السيد المرتضى بن الداعي الحسيني، عن المفيد عبد الرحمان النيسابوري، عنه، رحمهم الله ". وتقدم عن النجاشي في ترجمة علي بن أحمد: أنه روى عن علي بن أحمد ابن الحسين الطبري.
