في عكرمة مولى ابن عباس 387 - حدثني محمد بن مسعود، قال: حدثني ابن ازداد ابن المغيرة، قال: حدثني الفضل بن شاذان، عن ابن أبي عمير، عن حماد بن عيسى، عن حريز، عن زرارة، قال، قال أبو جعفر عليه السلام: لو أدركت عكرمة عند الموت لنفعته، قيل لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام: بم ذا ينفعه؟ قال: كان يلقنه ما أنتم عليه، فلم يدركه أبو جعفر عليه السلام ولم ينفعه. قال الكشي: وهذا نحو ما يروى لو اتخذت خليلا لاتخذت فلانا خليلا، لم يوجب لعكرمة مدحا بل أوجب ضده.
