عبد الله بن المرحوم: الكوفي: عده الشيخ (تارة) في أصحاب الصادق (عليه السلام) (60)، و (أخرى) في أصحاب الكاظم (عليه السلام) (36)، قائلا: " عبد الله بن مرحوم ". روى عنه الحسن بن محبوب ووصفه بالأزدي. الفقيه: الجزء 2، باب ثواب صوم شعبان، الحديث 247. وقال في العيون: الجزء 1، الباب 4، في نص أبي الحسن موسى (عليه السلام) على ابنه الرضا (عليه السلام)، الحديث 13. " حدثنا أبي - رضي الله عنه -، قال: حدثني سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن عبد الله بن مرحوم، قال: خرجت من البصرة أريد المدينة، فلما صرت في بعض الطريق لقيت أبا إبراهيم (عليه السلام) وهو يذهب به إلى البصرة، فأرسل إلي فدخلت عليه فدفع إلي كتبا وأمرني أن أوصلها بالمدينة، فقلت إلى من أدفعها جعلت فداك؟ قال: إلى ابني علي، فإنه وصيي والقيم بأمري وخير بني ". روى عن أبي سيار، روى عنه ابن محبوب. الكافي: الجزء 2، كتاب الايمان والكفر 1، باب الصبر 47، الحديث 8.
