عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل: ابن أبي طالب، من أصحاب الصادق (عليه السلام)، رجال الشيخ (668). قال الشيخ في التهذيب: الجزء 9، في (باب في إبطال العول والعصبة من كتاب الفرائض)، في ذيل الحديث 971، ما هذا نصه: وأما الكلام على الخبر الثاني مما استحجوا به، فهو أن رواية رجل واحد، وهو عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل، وهو عندهم ضعيف واه لا يحتجون بحديثه (إلخ).
