عبد الله بن الحسين اليزدي: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (465): " مولانا عبد الله بن الحسين اليزدي. فاضل، عالم، جليل، إمامي، له حاشية على حاشية الخطائي، وحاشية على شرح الشمسية وغير ذلك. وقرأ عليه الشيخ حسن ابن الشهيد الثاني، والسيد محمد بن أبي الحسن العاملي، وقرأ عليهما. وذكره صاحب السلافة فقال: عبد الله بن الحسين اليزدي أستاد الشيخ البهائي، كان علامة زمانه، لم يدانه أحد في العلم والورع، وله مؤلفات مفيدة كشرح القواعد في الفقه، وشرح العجالة و [حاشية] التهذيب في المنطق وغير ذلك " (إنتهى).
