عبد الله أبو هريرة: من أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله، رجال الشيخ (23). روى الصدوق عن محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني - رضي الله عنه -، قال: حدثنا عبد العزيز بن يحيى، قال: حدثني محمد بن زكريا، قال: حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن عمارة، عن أبيه، قال: سمعت جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، يقول: ثلاثة كانوا يكذبون على رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، أبو هريرة، وأنس بن مالك، وامرأة. الخصال: باب الثلاثة، الحديث 263. وتقدمت الرواية في أنس بن مالك، وقد كتب السيد الجليل السيد عبد الحسين شرف الدين العاملي كتابا مستقلا في أكاذيب أبي هريرة، وسماه أبو هريرة، فراجع الكتاب حتى ترى العجب.
