foiiowing: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Of perfumes are, musk, ambergris, saffron and aloe wood/”

Everything in this book that is narrated from Abd Al-Mu'min ibn Al-Qasim Al-Ansari Al-Kufi has been transmitted by me from my father - may Allah (swt) have mercy on him - from Sad ibn Abdullah, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Abi Al-Khattab, from Al-Hakam ibn Maskeen, from Abu Kahmas, from Abd Al-Mu'min ibn Al-Qasim Al-Ansari Al-Kufi, who was an Arab and the brother of Abu Maryam Abd Al-Ghaffar ibn Al-Qasim Al-Ansari.

that the weakened people are at (different) kinds, which some contradict the other, and that the one among the people of Qibla [1] who is not a Nasib, is a weakened individual.

Impurity is doubt.

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who dies owing debts. He (the Imam) said, ‘If such debts have become due upon him and it is free of his involvement in corruption, Allah will not hold him responsible if He will find in him the intention to pay back. However, if he did not have the intention to pay back what was in his trust, he then is considered a thief and so also is Zakat and destroying Mahr (dowry) of women.”’

Abu Sufyan approached, while Mu’awiya was following him, and the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: «O Allah, curse the following and the followed. O Allah, it is upon You to ruin the belittled lordotic.» Ibn Baraa’ said to his father: Who is the belittled lordotic? He said: Mu’awiya.

Indeed, disbelief is polytheism. Then he stood up and entered the mosque, and he turned to me and said: Yes, (that applies if) a man carries a narration to his companions, and so he does not teach him, and so he returns it to him. It is, then, a grace that he has rejected, and it does not reach polytheism.

Prophet (s) said: The love for my household and me will help in seven situations whose horrors are enormous: at death, in the grave, in the Resurrection, in the Recorded Account, in the Judgment, in the Balance, and on the Path.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: One who loves me and loves my Ahl al-Bayt will benefit in seven places and will be rewarded generously: (1) at death, (2) in the grave, (3) at the Resurrection, (4) at the [giving of the] book, (5) at the Judgment, (6) at the scale, and (7) on the Path.

he heard Abul Qassim Muhammad ibn ‘Ali, Ibn al-Hanafiyya (may Allah be pleased with him) say: "There is nothing for you in your life except tasteful pleasure which brings you closer to your death, and nearer to your sleep. Every food causes a lump and every drink is accompanied by a choke! So ponder over your affairs; as if you were (already) a lost friend and a dream carried away! The people of the earth are on a journey, they do not have to break camp except elsewhere."

I am Abdullah ibn Mas’ood.’ The Bedouin asked, ‘Has your Prophet told you how many successors he will have after him?’ He replied, ‘Yes. Twelve successors - as many as the Israelite chiefs.’”

We were sitting in a circle with `Abdullah b. Mas`ud when a Bedouin came and said: Which one of you is `Abdullah? `Abdullah b. Mas`ud said: I am `Abdullah. He said: Has your Prophet (s) ever told you how many caliphs would come after him? He said: Yes, twelve, like the number of chiefs of the Children of Israel.

“When abu Muhammad (a.s.) was imprisoned, the ‘Abbassids, Salih ibn Wasif, Salih ibn Ali and others who were not Shi‘as all came to Salih ibn Wasif asking him to exert more pressure on abu Muhammad (a.s.).Salih told them, “What should I do? I managed to find two people who were of the harshest manners and appointed them to guard him they both turned into most assiduous worshippers in prayers and fasting. When I asked them about their behaviors they replied, “What would you say about a man who fasts every day, worships the whole night and does not speak or busy himself with anything? When we look at him a feeling of trembling and shivering over takes us and we lose control over our own selves.” When they heard this they returned in despair.”

“Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, created the believers from the clay of paradise. He created the unbelievers from the clay of fire. He then said, ‘When Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, decides to grant good to one of His servants. He purifies his spirit and body. Whenever he hears any good thing he recognizes it. Whenever he hears any bad things he dislikes them.’ I (the narrator) then heard him saying, ‘The clays are of three kinds: (a) one is the clay of the prophets from which the believers are also created, except that the prophets are made of the superior kind of clay. The prophets are the roots and the believers are the branches and for this reason they are more excellent than the believers. The believers are created from a stickier kind of clay. Thus Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious will not keep them apart from their followers.’ The Imam than said, ‘The clay of those who insult (‘ A’immah ) are from a black clay that smells foul. The weak ones are made from soil. The believers do not change their faith nor do evil doers (those who insult ‘ A’immah , recipients of divine supreme covenant) do so and Allah has a definite goal behind it.’”

"Among the supplications of Amirul Mu’mineen, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, there was the following: "O Allah! I seek refuge with you from being hostile to a person who is Your saint; or from being friendly to one who is Your adversary, or to choose Your permanent wrath. O Allah! Our blessings be for those You have blessed, and our curse be upon those You have cursed; O Allah! relieve us by the demise of one whose death is a relief for us and for all the Muslims; and grant us in exchange one who is better for us than he; so that You may show us, by Your acceptance, that which we wish to realize in our faith and in our lives; O Most Merciful among the mercifuls." And may Allah bless our master Muhammad and his progeny.

This is the hadith of Mutrif: He said: We were sitting in the mosque, and `Abdullah b. Mas`ud was with us. A Bedouin came and said: Is there an `Abdullah among you? He said: Yes, I am `Abdullah. What do you need? He said: O `Abdullah! Has your Prophet (s) informed you of how many caliphs there would be? He said: You have asked me about something that no one has asked me since I came to Iraq. Yes, twelve – the number of chiefs of the Children of Israel. Abu `Uruba said in his hadith: He said: Yes, the number of chiefs of the Children of Israel.

Yes. I am Abdullah ibn Mas’ood. What do you want?’ The Bedouin asked, ‘O Abdullah! Has your Prophet informed you how many successors will vome after him?’ He replied, ’You have asked me what others have not asked me before since I came here from Iraq. Yes. There will be twelve successors - as many as the Israelite chiefs.’” Abu Aroobah has narrated this statement as follows in his version of this tradition, ‘Yes. They are as many as the Israelite chiefs.’ Abu Aroobah has narrated as follows in the next tradition his version of this.
