عبد الرحمان بن عوف: من أصحاب رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، رجال الشيخ (5). وهو أحد الستة الذين جعل عمر بن الخطاب أمر الخلافة شورى بينهم! وهو اختار عثمان من بينهم! ومع ذلك ففي رواية الكشي عن بعض العامة - الآتية في ترجمة محمد بن أبي حذيفة - أنه ممن شرك في دم عثمان! روى عن أبيه، عن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله)، وروى النضر بن سنان، عن أبي سلمة، عنه. التهذيب: الجزء 4، باب فرض الصيام، الحديث 421. كذا في الطبعة القديمة والوافي أيضا، ولكن في الوسائل (الطبعة الحديثة): النضر بن سنان، عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمان بن عوف.
