شرف الدين بن علي: قال الشيخ الحر في تذكرة المتبحرين (367): " الشيخ شرف الدين بن علي النجفي: كان فاضلا، محدثا، صالحا، له كتاب الآيات الباهرة في فضل العترة الطاهرة، وربما ينسب إلى الكراجكي وليس بصحيح، لأنه ينقل من كشف الغمة ومن كتاب العلامة ولكن لهذا الكتاب نسختان، إحداهما فيها زيادات، وينقل فيها من كنز الفوائد للكراجكي، ومن كتاب ما نزل من القرآن في أهل البيت (عليهم السلام)، لمحمد بن العباس المعروف بابن الجحام الثقة ".
